A symbolic monument for the refugee children who are forced to leave their country, through an endless path to hope. A real odyssey for a new life in a new country. Unfortunately, many children drown in the Mediterranean Sea, one of the deadliest passages in the world, trying to reach a country without war.
The performance begins with a truck unloading a volume of marble in Victoria Square (Athens). Kleitoras asked the refugees and especially the children to write their name and country on the marble. The sculptor then carved the letters with a chisel creating a symbolic monument.
